PRIZES AND REWARDS

The academy manages over 100 funds and foundations. The donation amounts to half a billion kroner. Every year, a large number of scholarships, prizes and awards in artistic fields are awarded through these funds and foundations.

The Bernadotte Prize

The new Bernadotte Prize has been instituted in connection with the commemoration of HM the King's 50 years on the throne. The prize is part of the Bernadotte program and is to be awarded to a researcher, artist, organization or institution that over a long period of time has contributed to public education or social development in the field of culture, cultural heritage, art and aesthetics. The newly established Bernadotte Prize will be awarded annually starting this year. > Read more
