The Royal Academy’s grants for architects

The Art Academy's Architectural Scholarships are awarded from funds and foundations which are intended partly for younger architects and partly for established architects (not in training).

Anders Mortner's Architect Foundation

Who can apply?
The scholarship is partly aimed at younger architects and partly at established architects.

What can you apply for?
Contribution for a special project.

Prerequisite:
that the scholarship is used for travel, studies or other activities abroad.

What should the application contain?
Project description is a mandatory task. The application will be rejected if reference is made to the attachment.

Ivar and Anders Tengbom's fund

Who can apply?
Architects, not in training.

What can you apply for?
Grants for research, publications, surveys or comparable companies

Prerequisite:
preferably with an ecological focus, with the aim of spreading knowledge about the art of building and its values.

Grants do not apply:
degree projects, study trips or conference participation.

What should the application contain?
Project description is a mandatory task.
The application will be rejected if reference is made to the attachment.

Travel grants

Bo Edblad and Maureen Wells Travel Scholarship

Who can apply?
According to the will, the scholarship is to be given every other time to an architect and every other time to a carpenter who has completed his studies. 2024 is given the scholarship to architect.

What can you apply for?
The scholarship shall provide the opportunity to carry out study trips.

What should the application contain?
Describe the purpose of the trip in the project description.
Follow the instructions in the form carefully and only upload what is specifically requested.
Check that the application is completely filled out.

Jenny Lind's scholarship fund

Travel grants are awarded every three years (2024) to younger architects. Younger means born no later than 1984.

What can you apply for?
The scholarship shall provide the opportunity to carry out study trips.

What should the application contain?
Describe the purpose of the trip in the project description.
Follow the instructions in the form carefully and only upload what is specifically requested.
